"My life changed the morning I met Mauricio. My regular therapist scheduled me to meet with Mauricio to check my balance problems. We chatted about how my fear of falling was in control of my life and what I wanted to accomplish. I instantly felt trust and wanted to learn more about my fears. I learned to listen to my body and observe what I was feeling and how I was positioning my body. Mauricio taught me how to trust the floor and my instincts to connect my brain to my butt. I learned how to get out of a chair, to walk up and down stairs confidently and most importantly how to skip again. My goals were to climb up and down stairs with no handrail, walk around my property with confidence and to garden without any fear of falling. I am now able to do all of these and much more. I am looking forward to a new year of growing and gardening. I have also shared my lessons with my friends."

"I first came to experience ABM with my therapist Mauricio, when I finally decided to try rehab for my rheumatoid arthritis. I had struggled with nagging pain and depression off and on for about 10 years. Various medicine attempts and some near-disastrous reactions to them, and I thought 'what can it hurt?'. So I was amazed and relieved to discover some obvious results from this gentle therapy.
At first the subtle and slow manipulations seemed strange to me. But I thought 'what the heck... go with it'. And after 3 sessions I could not believe my feelings of relaxation, release of tension, and even the discovery of new love for myself! And wow, the healing of my body began. The feelings of peace I experienced were miraculous in relaxing a tense body that I had no idea plagued me for most of my life. That's definitely healing in my opinion."

"I gratefully found this work 6 years ago after my first of 5 surgeries for breast cancer. I was astounded at how such simple gentle movement resulted in profoundly increasing my freedom of movement. It brought this new sense of awareness to my whole being. I didn’t even realize how much the surgeries to my chest area affected even the most basic functions such as breathing! Through my commitment to this work I was able to experience noticeable faster recovery with my subsequent surgeries. I had less pain, less nausea, less everything! These results drove my commitment to the practice. I have continued with this commitment throughout my cancer journey. And I attribute a big part of my high quality of life to this work. I now have been diagnosed with metastatic cancer to T6, T9 L2 and L4 of my spine, my left shoulder, my left hip, my pubic bone and my 6th right rib. With the increase in sites, I found myself relying on opioids for pain relief…(4-8 pills per day and still having pain). Although my doctors kept prescribing more and different opioids, I decided to up my focus on this neuromovent deal. I started doing movement lessons 5 days a week for 30 min or so in length. After a month or so of commitment to the movement lessons, I followed with a 5 day intensive with Mauricio which consisted of private sessions 45 -60 minutes 5 days in a row. I am now so excited to report I am off all opioids and back to doing the things I love like hiking and traveling. If pain starts to creep up, I up my movement lessons and get a tuneup from Mauricio and I’m good to go. My doctors keep saying “I don’t know what you're doing, but keep doing it”. I know the science calls this brain plasticity, but I simply call it a miracle."
